Be Still And Know
There are questions without answers
And shades of gray in this spectrum of life
No periods at the end of a sentence
Only question marks in sight
So many unfulfilled desires
And dreams that may not ever come true
Been beaten up so many times
My heart is black and blue
It's hard to be surrounded by darkness
When all you crave is to be in the light
And it's hard to be in battle day after day
When all you want is to give up the fight
No one wants the rain
They only want the rainbows
And no one wants the thorns
They only want the rose
But God never said this life would be easy
He just promised to be with you wherever you go
So when you're stuck in the wilderness
Hold fast to God, be still and know
PSALM 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
